Mario Balotelli suspended two matches for bad behavior

The Italian Mario Balotelli, announced from OGC Nice, was suspended for two matches for bad behavior during the 37th day of the French championship on May 12.

“Super Mario” was sanctioned by the disciplinary committee, which heard him on Thursday, because of his role in the action which had led to the expulsion of Caennais Ismaël Diomandé in what was presented as his last match in front of the Nice supporters, against Caen.

“The sanction takes effect on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at midnight,” said specified the LFP.

It means that, if the Italian striker commits to Olympique de Marseille, where he has been insistently announced in recent days, the 27-year-old could serve these suspension matches under the colors of his future club.
