Marinette Pichon has had football in her skin from a very young age. Raised by a courageous mother who must face an abusive husband, she overcomes difficulties and forges unfailing determination. While she combines odd jobs and a sporting career, she is selected for the French team and then spotted by a major American club. Marinette then arrives with her mother in the United States, pursuing the dream of becoming the best player in the world.
