Marine Johannès has been a Liberty player since the summer of 2019, so she has had plenty of time to get to know life in New York. In an interview with Tony Parker, the back of the France team looked back on this wonderful adventure.

When I look back on it, I was lucky to sign in New York in 2019. But we weren’t even playing in town, we were in Westchester, an hour away. We can say it was a little more rotten than the Barclays Center. Now things have really evolved, there is one of the best teams in the world, I love the coach and she trusts me. I was lucky to have a good time in 2019.
I don’t necessarily think about the fact that I have become an ambassador, but I receive a lot of messages to tell me that I inspire a lot of young people, both girls and boys.
