Two weeks from the end of the regular season, Marine Johannes and the New York Liberty took another step towards the WNBA playoffs with their big win (102-73) over the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday.
And Sabrina Ionescu (31 points) and Natasha Howard (24 points) fueled the New York brand rather well, Marine Johannès also brought his stone to the building off the bench with 12 points at 4/10 on shots and 1/6 at 3-pointers, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals in 22 minutes. A great performance that allows the resident of ASVEL to get back on the road after having been losing speed for a few games.

Unused Iliana Rupert, Gabby Williams scored 13 points while Julie Allemand failed to shine
After winning the Commissioner’s Cup against Chicago Sky (93-83), Iliana Rupert did not come into play during the defeat of his team against the Washington Mystics (83-73).
