Marilyn Manson in trouble. The shock rock star has in fact agreed to surrender herself to the LAPD, in possession of an arrest warrant deriving from an episode that occurred in New Hampshire in 2019, according to the website Deadline Hollywood. The fact, which would have happened during a concert, would see the artist Manson the protagonist of a regrettable episode: he would have spit and shot a person with a video camera.
Marilyn Manson arrested: the charges
The warrant was issued in May in Gilford, after Manson failed to respond to charges filed against him in that jurisdiction. Manson, real name Bryan Hugh Warner, faces two counts, and could be arraigned by mid-August. The pop star is not expected to be present in court. The 52-year-old artist was performing at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on August 18, 2019, when the incident occurred. The person holding the video camera, who has not been identified, was working in the pit under the stage when Manson started attacking her. The artist’s lawyer has always denied any aggressive behavior during the show. Manson, at the same time, is also facing another trial with separate charges of rape and abuse by several women.
