It was this Sunday that the semi-final of the 10th season of The voice. This one was a little special, because it was of a cross type, that is to say that the candidates did not face those from their team, but many others. In this sense, at the end of the evening, it could be that a coach does not have any artists on his team! However, just before the candidates’ performances, Marilou pleased her early fans by immersing the stage with her glorious vocal talent and her sharp pen.
To tell the truth, it had been a very long time since we had a foray into his stage repertoire. On stage, the singer shared a delicious moment with the 8 semi-finalists of the season, performing some of her most recent hits, such as “The Protagonist” and “The Heart of Apples”. On this sweet, melancholy and sublime song at the same time, an angelic choir of singers accompanied Marilou, which charmed us.
Then, the businesswoman, who smiled brightly at several points during the performance, testifying to her obvious happiness at being on stage, concluded her number with the very catchy “This September Wind”. So much beauty overwhelmed our television! We had the impression of the full extent of the beauty of the album Traits d’unionpublished in 2023.

A few days before the broadcast of the show, Marilou had also shared her feelings on her Instagram page, in a touching text:
« I gathered up all the courage I had to put my two feet back on a stage after telling myself for 10 years that I would never be able to do it again.
The smell of smoke, the heat of the lights, the in-ears that block out the murmurs of a crowd that I can still hear, the counts, the waiting and the music. All these little things that instantly brought me back to this world I fled.
I am proud to have returned there with my consciousness today, my health, my music and my independence.
Both so difficult and wonderful to reverse a fear 🤍

At the end of her performance, we were pleased to learn that Marilou was currently preparing a documentary about her expected return to music. Titled Marilou – Face the music, the special program will appear this fall on TVA. Until then, the singer is going on a musical tour over the next few months. All the details on his Instagram page.
Finally, next week will be the grand finale of this sublime 10th season of The voice. And we bet that with the special guests who will come to push the note with the candidates, it will be sparkling with interest! Among these, we note the presence of Mitsou, Jeanick Fournier and Sophie Grenier, the winner of the previous edition.
