Marieke can’t wait to hold her baby in her arms, but has to wait patiently for now. She thinks the idea that something is growing in her belly is ‘a crazy idea’. She does say that she has not yet felt ‘him’. “By the way, I’m telling him because it’s a boy. We already know that.”

Despite the fact that Marieke has enough boy names on her list, it is still quite a task to choose from. “Luuk is of course nice, but Aran can. John is also nice. Eric, Jeroen. Well, in short: the list is still quite long.” The presenter is happy that the big news is known, because now she can ‘finally be pregnant everywhere without having to think about it’. “It was also time to tell, because you’re starting to see it,” she says while rubbing her stomach.
