Marieke sat yesterday, just like 2.7 million other viewers, on the couch to watch the extremely popular The Masked Singer to watch. “Mattie is on TV,” she says when the Astronaut is on the screen. She is convinced that her radio colleague is hiding behind the mask. When it becomes known that the Astronaut has to leave the field, Marieke thinks that is a great shame. “But now I’ll find out if it’s really you.”

When the Astronaut’s mask is finally removed and Mattie does appear, Marieke is over the moon. “Yeah! It’s you”, she shouts through the living room. “I am so proud of that sweetheart. Quite well sung.”
Mariska Bauer also participated in the program this year. She hid behind the Mouse’s mask. Even hubby Frans and her children were unaware that she was participating. Below you can see how she kept her participation secret.
