The two permanent staff of the SCC pursued by the minister of Energy, has been paid. They were in particular accused of slander.
It is a victory for freedom of expression and a victory for the trade union action”welcomed Alexis Deswaef, the lawyer for the two permanent union of the SCC acquitted on Monday by the correctional court of Hainaut. They had been the subject of a complaint filed by the Energy minister Marie-Christine Marghem (MR), for slander and defamation of character.
