Maribel Guardia had been absent from the play “Lagunilla mi barrio” after the death of her son Julián Figueroa. The cast did not know for sure when she would return, even Alma Cero replaced her and her wishes were for her to return when she felt ready for it, and apparently, the encounter that Maribel had with her son helped make this happen .

It was during her son’s rosary, when she was able to see him and hug him, now she knows that he is fine, happy and better than ever, so although she misses him, she feels calm to have seen him in so much light.

Maribel returned to the staging “Lagunilla mi barrio” after being absent due to the sudden death of her son Julián, who lost his life on April 9 after suffering a heart attack at home.

The audience at the Teatro II Cultural Center applauded Maribel when she appeared, as did her companions, and then the people stood up to continue the ovation.
