Mariana Varela and Fabiola Valentin:

During Miss Grand International in 2020, several young women competed to be named this year’s Miss Queen.

At the time, Argentina representative Mariana Varela (26) and Puerto Rico’s Fabiola Valentín (22) both finished in the top ten.

Despite not making it all the way to the top of the contest, the love story between the two contest queens began to blossom.

They are now also officially married. Report, among others New York post.

Miss Argentina and Miss Puerto Rico have been dating secretly for two years. They reveal it in an Instagram post, to their combined 245,000 followers.

– Escaped in the middle of the wedding party

They have never hidden that they had a good friendship, which they diligently shared on social media too, but now the couple admits that they have also chosen to take a step forward in their friendship.

“Having kept our relationship private, we are now opening the doors to our relationship on a very special day,” they write in the post.

Also, it appears they got married on October 28th.

So far the post has been viewed more than two million times.

In the post, you can see several flashbacks of romantic travels they have had together over the past few years. After the travel clips, you can see a clip of the night they got engaged.

Among other things, you can see Valentín putting an engagement ring on Varela’s finger.

Argentina legalized same-sex marriage in 2010, while Puerto Rico legalized it five years later, in 2015.
