“I lost my mum Patricia and my sister Alison on the same day last weekend,” the singer confirms People. She is heartbroken by these “tragic events”.
“I feel blessed to have been able to spend the last week with my mother before she passed away,” she continued. “I am grateful for the love and support I have received from everyone and for respecting my privacy during this difficult time.”
It is not yet known why the two women died.
