“We’re rolling out the red carpet for a new wax figure of none other than the best-selling female artist of all time: Mariah Carey!” the museum said on its website.
The singer took to her Instagram to express her happiness at the recognition. “I finally found someone to help me deliver toys this year! Thank you Madame Tussauds New York,” Carey wrote with excitement.
The translator visited her “twin” on Sunday, and it became clear that it was very difficult to distinguish between the real one and the wax figure, dressed in a long red sleeved dress sensual and elegant, with a wide neck in front and open to the side, “which is completely reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe,” according to the museum.

The figure, according to Tussauds “conveys all the glamor and joy we expect from the Queen of Christmas.”
Tussauds showed on its page a picture in which the singer of the famous film ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’, which she wrote with Walter Afanasieff in 1994, together with her “twin” in a dark gala dress.
