Earlier, the president said that in southeastern Ukraine no one was injured or killed, they shoot each other
“The statement” they are shooting “at the residents of Donbass can only be made by a heartless cynic, given how many people in the DPR and LPR have died over the years.” This was stated by the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, quoted by BGNES.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking of the situation in the southeast of the country, said that “no one was injured or killed there, they are shooting.”
Zakharova added that the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission registered shelling there, which was significantly higher than in Ukraine. Zakharova suggested that this was the reason Americans withdrew their own observers because “they could accuse their government of lying.”
The escalation in the republics began days ago when the People’s Militia signaled the arrival of “mercenary saboteurs” in Ukraine. And the West, frightened by a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine, has begun sending weapons, equipment and ammunition to the region.
