The highlight of the pilgrimage was laying a wreath at the ÖKB state memorial, which was built in 1963 by the Comradeship Society in Maria Taferl. At the end, the national and European anthems were sung, and the band Gerolding was responsible for the music. The celebrations then ended when the delegations left the flag under the direction of the Head of State Herbert Kraushofer.
