“A career woman has to give up her family, but it is too high a price to pay”

Maria Grazia Cucinotta answered the journalist’s questions Gianni Riotta showing the lesser known side of his personality: “I am very excited to be here and I wanted to thank Don Davide Milani that involved me in this magnificent experience: we start with women and, above all, we start with life. The lockdown changed me a lot: I was no longer used to waking up and having time. For 34 years I ran like each of us following appointments, at hours, at minutes … being able to start having time for life again was something wonderful “.
Maria Grazia Cucinotta who turned 52 just four days ago: “I went to celebrate it in Salina, the island where ‘Il postino’ was filmed, I found myself there because every year we do an award dedicated to Massimo Troisi and it coincided with my birthday … Even turning years was a special thing because with covid nothing was taken for granted and celebrating it where my career started was exciting “.
The conversation went from Troisi (“you understood 50% of what he said but in reality you understood everything because where the words did not arrive, the emotion he gave you came.
