Maurizio Costanzo intervened in connection during the episode of What’s the weather like on Sunday 27 February. Fabio Fazio wanted to celebrate with the journalist 40 years since the first episode of the Maurizio Costanzo Show. Maria commented: “This thing he has been saying since I’ve known him, is good for you.” Maurizio Costanzo, in fact, has often declared that he would like to die holding the hand of his Maria.

The journalist told how the relationship with Maria De Filippi was born: “I met her in Venice. She wanted to be a lawyer and she seemed very intelligent to me. Then I called her back, had her come to Rome and offered her to come and work with me in a company I was setting up.“.
