María Celeste is fired from “Al Rojo Vivo”

Puerto Rican journalist María Celeste Arrarás announced this Wednesday that she was fired from Telemundo and yesterday was her last day with the Al Rojo Vivo program.

“This morning I was informed by the company that they have decided that the program should take a different direction and that due to adjustments due to the pandemic, I will no longer be part of the show,” he explained through his Instagram account.

María Celeste was part of the ranks of Telemundo for 18 years and was in charge of Al Rojo Vivo since April 2002 and assured that she was grateful for the opportunity to “serve the Hispanic community for so many years.”

“Telemundo has been my home for almost 20 years and I am very grateful for the opportunity they have given me to have been able to cover major news events and to serve our Hispanic community for so many years,” she added.
