Maria Becerra left all her followers in shock by posting a photo from a hospital. The popular singer, known as “La nena de Argentina”, shared the post with her partner, the singer J Kingaccompanying the image with a harsh message that clarified his health status.
«Hello everyone! We want to take a moment to tell you something important and personal. Yesterday I had to undergo an operation because I was experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. Fortunately, everything went very well and Juli and I are now at home, recovering surrounded by lots of love,” the artist’s statement begins.
Maria explained that the episode was completely unexpected: «I felt very strong pains in my abdomen after yesterday’s rehearsal and we went to the emergency room. There we found out that the pregnancy was ectopic and with hemorrhage. It was very hard emotionally, since we both wanted to be parents, something that is still in our plans, because we have plenty of love and we have a whole life ahead of us.
A space for people looking for a child who has not arrived
The singer and her partner mourned the loss of her pregnancy, but highlighted the support they received: “Fortunately, the incredible medical team and the love of our family and close friends helped us stay strong and in good hands.”
Aware of the concern that the news may have generated, Becerra clarified: «I know some of you may have heard about this and are worried, so we decided to share it.“We don’t want fake news to circulate at such a delicate time. I want you to know that I’m fine, and that, as the doctors recommended, I will gradually resume my routine.”
