[Agallamh]Actress Mari Hoshino (43), who announced that her 9-year-old daughter has an incurable disease and began to spread the word, responded to an interview with Sponichi Annex. For Hoshino, “This is normal parenting, but I think, for many other people, I have experienced a number of events that are not normal.” Together with her eldest daughter Fuuka and her husband her, Takahiro Takano, former TBS announcer and current head of CSR Promotion Office, they have raised a warm family. “Through my daughter, many people and systems have helped me.” At first, I was hesitant and reluctant to face this for the first time, but what words I encountered made my heart feel more lightness? The eldest daughter, Fuuka, suffers from central nuclear myopathy, a type of congenital myopathy designated by the government as an incurable disease designated by the government as a congenital abnormality in structure of the muscles that cause muscle weakness, and he is currently attending a special event. need a class in her primary school.
Looking back, Hoshino, a new mother, felt that something was wrong with Fuka’s neck not being able to sit up even after two or three months of age. ”He said he had many answers and spent his days wishing for them. At his six-month check-up, he was asked to undergo a test, and after several visits, the doctor told him that he might have “congenital myopathy.” However, it is said that the child’s young body can perform tests that require general anesthesia up to two years of age, and it was not until then that the diagnosis of the disease was finally found.
“The disease we were first told was so severe that we didn’t know if he would survive until he was 2 years old without surgical treatment, so the fact that this wasn’t true means that we can continue to be with him and help him grow.” The name of the disease that was found is rather optimistic, or good information for the family. I realized that the most worrying thing is not knowing, and I think this applies not only to my daughter’s illness, but also to people in the world who have different problems but now that I know what’s going on, I think I can take it a step further from there.”
A new beginning for the family of three. However, as we went about our daily lives together, there were times when I felt confused and physically unable to do things.
“At that time, I was very grateful that my kindergarten teacher told me, “Depending on others is a talent. ”I am a man who has been through a lot of pain, so I need someone to trust. In my case, I think there are many people in the world who struggle because they can’t say the word “I want help”, whether they have a disability or not a lighter heart.”
Expand my meetings. I used different systems and got support. “I learned about the warmth of many people. I have lived here for almost 40 years, but through my daughter I was surprised how many things I did not know. I also realized that the world is so warm there. I wanted people who didn’t know about it to know, which led to my desire to publish it.”
On Fuuka’s Instagram, she posted a video in which she challenged herself to ride a bicycle and three adults, including Hoshino, supported her and the bicycle, saying, “Independence means increasing the number of people you depend on.” Words of Kumagai. “This is the Takano family in action,” Hoshino wrote in a comment. This was met with warm comments such as “profound words” and “it gave me confidence.”
“I am grateful to everyone for relying on me. When someone does something for me, I feel grateful, and I also feel that I want to do it for someone else. I hopefully it creates that kind of chain reaction.”
I will pass on the warmth I learned through my beloved daughter.
