In the ‘Tafel van Vier’ Margriet Hermans told that she once applied for a job as a secretary. “I was in the top three and I thought I had the best assets,” said the singer. “But when the boss saw me, it was over immediately. My fellow candidate was a pretty girl, so it was quickly settled.”

And it also went wrong during another application for the same reason. “I weighed 120 kg at the time. That man must have thought: ‘Our chairs are not that strong’”, he said, laughing. In the end, the person in question regretted his decision. “I once met him during a performance”, Margriet remembers well. “He remembered that I had once applied for a job with him and was therefore quite embarrassed.”
