Margot Robbie Reflects on Oscar Nominations Disappointment for ‘Barbie’ Movie

Robbie expressed her support for Gerwig’s directorial work, stating, “Obviously I think Greta should be nominated as a director because what she did is a once-in-a-career, once-in-a-lifetime thing.”
Despite the disappointment of not receiving a lead actress nomination, Robbie was recognized as a producer for “Barbie” in the best picture category. The film received a total of eight Oscar nominations, including nods for supporting actors Ryan Gosling and America Ferrera.
