Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – “Barbie” star Margot Robbie has recreated another classic look worn by one of Mattel’s best-selling dolls.
This time, the actress embodied the Superstar Barbie doll from 1977 at the Golden Globe Awards, appearing in a bright pink evening dress designed by Armani Privé.

Robbie, who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, wore jewelry studded with more than $3 million worth of pink and white diamonds by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, as well as pink Manolo Blahnik shoes.
The vintage doll, which was recently re-released, featured diamond jewelry that “glittered under disco lights” and matching high-heeled shoes that “completed her vibrant look.”

When talking about her decision to wear pink, Robbie joked on the red carpet: “I just woke up and thought, ‘Maybe this would be appropriate.'”
Since the start of the film’s press tour, look designer Andrew Mukamal has worked with brands including Prada, Vivienne Westwood, Bottega Veneta, Balmain, Versace, Valentino, and Schiaparelli. To maintain the “Barbie” character that Ruby played when she appeared on the red carpet.

The star later shined in a look specially designed for her by Vivienne Westwood, inspired by the “Enchanted Evening” doll, during the film’s premiere in the British capital, London, and then in a look by the “Moschino” brand, embodying the “Sparkling Pink” doll, when she attended a press conference in Seoul. “Barbie” was nominated for nine Golden Globe Awards, more than any other film this year, and ended the evening by winning two awards.
