Ryan Gosling may have a chance for the Oscar for ‘best supporting actor’ for his role in ‘Barbie’, but the actor is not happy with the fact that neither Margot Robbie nor Greta Gerwig have been nominated. For example, the Australian actress has no chance of winning the Oscar for ‘best female lead’ for her role as Barbie. Gerwig, in turn, was not named in the ‘best director’ category. “There is no Ken without Barbie. And there is no ‘Barbie’ movie without Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie,” said a disappointed Ryan Gosling. “They are responsible for this fantastic film. Without their talent, courage and genius, no one would be recognized. Gosling also made it clear that he is very disappointed that his ‘Barbie’ colleagues have not been nominated. “Against all odds, they made us laugh, broke our hearts and made history. Their work, along with the other nominees, should be recognized.”
