At the beginning of December, the judoka shared a photo of her swollen face, accusing her coach from Blanc-Mesnil and companion Alain Schmitt of having violently attacked her. Judged at Bobigny, he had been acquitted of the facts of domestic violence. A decision that the prosecution appealed.

The French Judo Federation had suspended Alain Schmitt, who now holds positions in the Bulgarian national judo team. The showdown between the two judokas should continue, again in court, at the next trial.
