On the evening of Wednesday, October 14, TV3 viewers witnessed Margarita Kolosova, a colorful mother of five children and a farmer, whom Latvia got to know in the singing show “X Faktors”, in the entertaining culinary show “Almost Ideal Dinner”.
Margarita’s guests – musicians Arnis Slobozhanins, actors Kārlis Tols and the owner of “Dzīļi” bakery Aina Barsukova – were received in their homes in Rogovka in complete rural simplicity.
The housewife made no secret of the fact that repairing tractors was more important to her than standing by the stove, so she had decided to treat her guests with quite simple country dishes.

The manner in which the housewife cooked was remarkable. For example, chop cut and flap she chose outside the kitchen. “I always have a desk here – I’m going to eat here,” she said, sitting at a small table in the living room. In turn, to wash the new potatoes, a beam was taken in hand.
Margarita’s dinners were greeted with an accordion, but each guest had provided a bribe. She was especially excited about Arnis’ gift: “He probably wanted to give a hint that I wasn’t washing. He gave me soap. ”
Without undue delay, Margarita invited the guests to sit down at the table. “It’s easy for me,” she explained. “Boats” filled with cheese and eggs and shuba or herring in a “fur coat”, which was rinsed with homemade beer and schmakovka, were built on the table.
Before starting the main meal, the guys were sent to the black sauna for a little entertainment. Although, as Aina explained, it is accepted in Latgale that the strong sex goes to the sauna separately from the ladies, Margarita still decided to honor Arnis and Kārlis with their presence.
“I saw naked,” she said enthusiastically, coming out of the sauna.
Next, a chop with potatoes and stewed cabbage and a cake was brought to the table, but the performance of Latgale musician Inga Gusāns was announced as the evening nail.
Kārlis admitted that this evening was very different from the previous meetings of the company and he would gladly return to this farm again.
For the overall atmosphere of the evening, Margarita received the maximum rating from the trio – 30 points.
