The best rated player of the Turkish Süper Lig is the captain of the Slovak national football team Marek Hamšík. This is stated by the specialized portal Sofascore, according to which the 34-year-old midfielder is the leader of the competition after the seventh round with a mark of 7.66.
There are only two teams without a loss in the Turkish league after the 7th round – Konyaspor and Hamšíkov Trabzonspor. Trabzonspor is on the second rung, just a point behind Fenerbahce. Together with Izmir, Besiktas and Hataspor, he scored the most goals – 14.
Hamšík came to Trabzonspor in the summer and immediately became a key figure in the team. He completed all the competitive matches, in less than two months it was eleven matches. He played up to 708 in a possible 720 minutes in the Süper League.
“It’s definitely nice to hear, but it needs to be taken with a grain of salt. I just want to pass everything on the field to my team and teammates,” quoted Hamšík on his official website.
On Monday, Trabzonspor had a chance to get to the top of the table in the event of a victory over Alanyaspor. The duel ended in a 1: 1 draw. “We all expected us to win, but it was a difficult match again and we were a little unlucky.
