There will be 14 and not 12 as previously announced episodes of the fourth season of Mare Fuori. Two more episodes, two more hours, essentially a film that will tell the grand finale of this new chapter of the Rai Fiction-Picomedia phenomenon series. «It is my gift to the fans of the series», says director Ivan Silvestrini, «an effort that the production wanted to make to reward the passion with which the public has followed us in recent years». The director’s announcement with a video on Instagram, in which he explains that “we would have liked to shoot a film of Mare Fuori, we didn’t succeed, but this way you will still have 90 minutes of extra scenes”. From midnight today, another eight episodes will be available on RaiPlay, in addition to the six already present on the streaming platform which have, from February 1st to today, 44 million views. From tomorrow evening, however, on Rai 2, the free-to-air broadcast of the fourth season will begin, with the first two episodes.
The return of Cyrus
But apparently the two extra episodes will not be the only gift for fans of the series. Tonight Ciro Ricci, the beloved character played by Giacomo Giorgio, will return to the screen, perhaps through some flashbacks of the story, or perhaps not, who knows. “Tonight at midnight something new and old for you and you alone,” the actor wrote on Instagram. And under his post, as well as under the video published by Silvestrini, the comments of anxiously waiting fans go crazy, hundreds and hundreds in a few minutes.
