Mardani H Maming officially became a fugitive after being added to the wanted list (DPO) requested by the KPK. Previously, Mardani H Maming was considered uncooperative and wanted to be picked up by the KPK forcibly.
“KPK has summoned Suspect MM (Mardani H Maming) twice, but he was not present, so we judge that the suspect in this case is not cooperative,” said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday (27/7/2022).
“Today the KPK has included this suspect on the wanted list (DPO) and, parallel to that, the KPK has also sent a letter to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police asking for assistance in the arrest of the suspect in question,” Ali added.

Ali still asked Mardani to cooperate and turn himself in. On the other hand, Ali hopes that the public will provide information to the KPK if they find out about Mardani’s whereabouts.
“The participation and support of the community in efforts to resolve this case is very much needed, because we all hope that the settlement of this case can be carried out quickly, effectively and efficiently,” he said.
The KPK previously carried out a forced pick-up of Mardani Maming. Mardani was forced to pick up because he had been absent from the call twice.
The KPK said Mardani was not cooperative. The KPK team also conducted a search.
However, during the forced pick-up, the KPK did not find Mardani Maming. It is known, Mardani is currently fighting the KPK through a pretrial.
In the pretrial application, Mardani Maming asked the judge to grant his pretrial lawsuit. Mardani asked that the suspect’s status be declared invalid.
