Marcus Rashford Late Goal, Manchester United Coup West Ham

Manchester United won dramatically with a score of 1-0 over West Ham United, Saturday (22/1), at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils only able to play with the score glasses until the 92nd minute, but their academy dropout, Marcus Rashford, came to the rescue three minutes after normal time.

With this result, the competition for the top four has become increasingly heated after Ralf Rangnick’s troops co-opted West Ham from fourth place with a score of 38 points in 22 matches.

The first half went quite slowly, with both teams unable to create meaningful chances.

Despite dominating possession, Man United could not penetrate the defense of David Moyes’ team.

The second half was more tense. Both teams had the opportunity to take the lead, the visitors through Jared Bowen and Tomas Soucek, while Raphael Varane’s header was just wide of Alphones Areola’s goal.

The new deadlock was broken in the third minute of added time through a counter-attack scheme.

Anthony Martial passed the ball to Edinson Cavani on the right side of the West Ham penalty box before the Uruguayan striker crossed for Rashford from close range.
After this, Man United will undergo the fourth round match of the FA Cup against Middlesbrough on February 5 in the morning WIB.
