Marcus Rashford Goes Clubbing After Manchester United’s Loss to Manchester City: Unacceptable Behavior, Says Manager

Jakarta

Marcus Rashford caught going clubbing after Manchester United beaten Manchester City. MU Manager Erik ten Hag said Rashford’s behavior was unacceptable.

MU was battered in the Manchester derby last weekend. Playing at Old Trafford, Sunday (29/10), the Red Devils were silenced by their city rivals with a score of 0-3.

Rashford appeared as a starter in that match. Appearing for 86 minutes, Rashford did not make a significant contribution after only being able to fire a shot which was not even on target.

A few hours after the MU vs Man City match, Rashford was caught on camera partying at a nightclub. The English striker is said to be celebrating his birthday.

Erik ten Hag admitted that he was aware of his player’s actions. The Dutch manager said Rashford had apologized.

“Yes, I know that, I spoke to him about this,” said Ten Hag in a press conference as reported by Sky Sports.

“This is unacceptable. I told him. He apologized. That’s it. The rest is an internal matter.”

This is not the first time Marcus Rashford annoyed Ten Hag regarding his attitude off the field. Last season, Rashford was punished by being substituted in the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers because he overslept and arrived late to a team meeting.
