Marcus Morris Wants to Play in Cleveland or Philadelphia

Marcus Morris is still without a team and his options are to re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers or sign as a free agent with the Philadelphia 76ers, the newspaper reported. Philadelphia Inquirer.

Philadelphia’s natural twin will enter his 14th season in the NBA with hopes of earning a deal that gives him playing time.

Last year he started the season with the Sixers after being part of the trade that resulted in the arrival of James Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers.

However, he would not finish the course in his native Philadelphia and would be sent back to the San Antonio Spurs, where he would eventually be cut.

Without equipment and despite the very loud sound of the Timberwolves, he finally signed a minimum-wage, season-long contract with the aforementioned Cavs, where he played a major role in the 2024 playoffs.

In 37 official games played with the 76ers, he averaged 6.7 points in 17.2 minutes per day.

For his part, his numbers in Cleveland were 5.8 points on 41% three-point shooting in 15 minutes a night.
