It shrunk early in the derby against AIK when Marcus Krüger received a heavy but decent tackle from AIK defender Filip Windlert.
Krüger was injured, but tried to play on in the change after but it didn’t work. Djurgården has only conveyed that it is an upper body injury.
– It didn’t feel good enough to play today, Krüger told Hockeynews in Globen after Djurgården’s 7-3 victory against Södertälje.

Krüger did not train on Thursday and followed the game on Friday from the press stand.

– No. I will be gone for a while.
The results of the medical examination are not clear. So there is still no forecast for how long Djurgården will have to manage without its star center and team captain.
– You don’t know that. Maybe we’ll know a little more tomorrow. But it’s weeks, not days, Krüger says softly.
