Even beyond the Atlantic, nothing can resist Marco Odermatt. Well almost. During the giant slalom of the World Cup in Palisades Tahoe, Marco Schwartz signed the surprise of the day. However, from the first round, it was indeed Marco Odermatt who set the tone at the start by winning in 1’08”43, just ahead of Alexis Pinturault (+0.25). Marco Schwarz then pulls out of the game during the second run, in 1’14”80. A performance that allows him to claim a great victory away from home, just ahead of Marco Odermatt over the two rounds (+0’03). Rasmus Windingstad completes the podium. On the French side, Alexis Pinturault finished seventh, without confirming his good start. Slalom tomorrow.
