His promotional tour for the new song ‘Hef Je Glas’ is not limited to the Netherlands. Marco is also a much sought-after guest in Belgium. At the table of the Flemish talk show by James Cooke and Gert Verhulst, Marco also talks about his private life. For example, he says that he can finally fall in love again.
After the break with Leontine, Marco licked his wounds on his mother Mary. “I really lay in bed for months and felt miserable. I no longer had the strength and the energy. (…) I didn’t like myself anymore, I hated what I had done.”

“We have had more disappointments over the years,” Marco continues. “You process that in your own way. Then you do not speak the same language completely, and we have now learned to speak each other’s language a bit. There is now more room for each other. There is still so much love, that is palpable and tangible. Now you can fall in love again.”
And the hit singer is certainly in love. “My heart is taken,” he said recently The 538 Morning Show with Frank Dane. Marco and Leontine are dating again. “That means as much as it is. That we just do fun things every now and then. We’ll see where the ship runs aground. We let go of the form.” The intention is that things will work out between Marco and ‘Tien’. “Of course I hope.
