At least seven racers failed to finish in this race. Apart from Marc Marquez, Alex Rins, Joan Mir, Luca Marini, Alex Marquez, Maverick Vinales, Jack Miller, and reigning MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia also retired.

The Road Race

Marc Marquez made a good start by taking pole position after the first corner. Francesco Bagnaia was knocked out in fourth place behind Luca Marini and Jack Miller.

Marquez created the distance after the first round by 0.148 seconds ahead of Miller. Bagnaia overtook Marini to take third place, while Miller had distracted Marquez.

In the second round, Miller successfully overtook Marquez to lead the race. Brad Binder had the unfortunate fate of going wide and dropping to 14th in the fourth round.

Bagnaia fell after colliding with Maverick Vinales at corner 1 in the fifth round. Not long after, Alex Marquez and Marini also fell at turn 4.

Miller, Marquez and Marco Bezzecchi occupied three pole positions in a row until the seventh round. Duo Pramac Jorge Martin and Johann Zarco complete the top five.

In the eighth lap, Bezzecchi took third after Marquez went wide. Martin pushed into second place behind Miller. Bezzecchi was considered to have violated the rules and was penalized for one position in the middle of the race.

Bezzecchi overtook Miller to take the lead on the eleventh lap. Marquez then overtook Miller to take second place. Bezzecchi continued to widen the distance with the riders behind him. By the thirteenth round, Bezzecchi had almost one second ahead.

Honda rider Joan Mir crashed at T8 followed by his former Suzuki partner Alex Rins in the next two rounds. His teammate, Marc Marquez was quite solid in second place by half a second ahead of Jorge Martin even though he was almost 1.5 seconds behind Bezzecchi.

Leading riders looked solid in their respective positions entering the last 10 rounds. Bezzecchi is still in first place with a 1.9 second advantage over Marc Marquez, who is 0.5 seconds ahead of Jorge Martin. The distance between Martin and Zarco in fourth position reached 1.2 seconds while Miller actually slipped to seventh.

Jorge Martin overshadowed Marc Marquez in the 21st lap, while Bezzecchi was getting stronger after scoring an almost three second advantage! One round later, Martin and Marquez fought fiercely even though the last driver was said to be able to maintain his position.

Jack Miller is unlucky right. In the last three laps, Miller crashed. Bezzecchi just got faster after winning 4.5 seconds in front of Marc Marquez.

Disaster for Marc Marquez. He fell at T7 in the last two laps, not long after being overtaken by Jorge Martin. Marquez is out, Martin and Zarco are in the top three.

Marco Bezzecchi crossed the finish line dominantly after winning 4.3 seconds from Jorge Martin. Zarco finished third, ahead of Augusto Fernandez and Aleix Espargaro.
