Marco Antonio Solís presents rain of successes at the American Airlines Center in Dallas

Dressed from head to toe in black, with a jacket with sequin details and his unmistakable wavy hair, Marco Antonio Solis was presented on Saturday night, September 28, on the stage of the American Airlines Center.

The presentation in Dallas, as part of the “Eternally Grateful” tour, offered the followers of “El Buki” a party full of romantic music, nostalgia and dance.

Before Marco Antonio Solís went out to delight his fans, the giant screens showed a tour of the Mexican singer’s musical career.

Accompanied by his band and a group of backup singers, the Michoacan singer-songwriter started his presentation with the song “My soul is dying.”

Just by hearing the first chords of the song, many of the attendees got excited and stood up and that continued to be the atmosphere for the following songs.

“Tonight is wonderful,” was one of the first words the singer addressed to his audience in Dallas.

“Every time there is good weather we have to be grateful, like here in Dallas,” he said after mentioning Hurricane John that recently affected Acapulco.

The ballads filled the audience with emotion and among the most sung songs were “Either I’m leaving or you’re leaving”, “I accept my defeat” and “If you hadn’t gone”.

The evening could not miss classic songs by Los Bukis such as “Viva el amor”, “El jealouso” and “Morenita”, in which Marco Antonio Solís demonstrated his dancing skills by performing some choreographies with his dancers.

Just as the name of his tour says, “Eternally Grateful,” throughout the night the singer expressed his gratitude to his fans on several occasions. Even after performing “If You Hadn’t Gone,” he bowed and received a standing ovation that lasted more than 30 seconds.

Apart from sending greetings to his Mexican audience, Marco Antonio Solís also recognized his followers, or as he described them, “brothers” from Central American regions such as Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and other countries such as Cuba and Puerto Rico.

His group of backup singers showed off their vocal abilities when they performed with Marco Antonio Solís Rocío Dúrcal’s iconic song “Como tu mujer.”

Almost at the end of the show, a very emotional moment was experienced thanks to one of the dancers, to whom they proposed marriage when the singer was introducing the entire cast that accompanied him that night.

Dallas was the last stop for “El Buki” in Texas and the tour will continue in 11 cities to conclude in Palm Desert, California.
