Marciniak (41) has already led a game for each team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, Argentina won 2-1 over Australia in the last 16 and France similarly won over Denmark in the round of 16 groups.
The Pole has regularly overseen European Champions League matches since his inception in the continental league in 2012.
He will be assisted by compatriots Pavel Sokolnicki and Tomas Leskevich at Lusail Stadium on Sunday.
