Marcigny. In the cinema, a live opera from New York

On Saturday June 4, the Vox cinema screened the last opera live in video from the Met Opera in New York. The volunteers were disappointed because, instead of the usual thirty spectators, there were less than 10! However, the work was grandiose and, as usual, at the intermission, everyone shared a few delicacies. Éliane Peguet, from St-Christophe, was delighted: “The one who plays Hamlet is incredible, with presence, flexibility, talent as an actor! I came less this year, but I absolutely wanted to attend the premiere of Hamlet live from the Met Opera in New York. You almost think you’re there.”

Next non-cinema show at the Vox: Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme, by Molière, live from the Comédie Française, Thursday June 9, at 8:10 p.m.
