With his foundation, organizer Markus Wulftange has made it his business to support sick kids and their parents and to give the little patients some joy and strength. For the 20th edition of the event, the trainer duo was part of the Allstar team. With them: Football idols from recent and past times, including Tim Sebastian, Torsten Kracht, Jürgen Rische and Matthias Zimmerling. The football class reunion rose in the best weather at SSV Stötteritz. Casual play was on the agenda for the eleven participating teams. Means: no offside and back pass rules. Sports therapist Wulftange was completely satisfied with the event. The 54-year-old had tough Corona months behind him – the foundation financed exclusively through donations. He is happy to be able to organize such an event again and generate money. 23,000 euros flowed into the foundation. “A nice story,” said Wulftange. The all-star team didn’t win the pot. In the end, the winners of the day were the young cancer patients and their families.
