Leipzig. Two Bundesliga coaches to touch. RB Leipzig’s Jesse Marsch and BVB coach Marco Rose presented themselves in the trade fair city on Sunday. The opponents of the Beletage use the international break for a benefit kick, made common cause far away from the league business.

For the 20th edition of the event, the trainer duo was part of the Allstar team. The football class reunion rose in the best weather at SSV Stötteritz. Casual play was on the agenda for the eleven participating teams. Means: no offside and back pass rules. The coach of Red Bulls play football with them every week in Soccerworld. “It’s nice to be here and to support the foundation,” explains Marsch. Social engagement is an affair of the heart.

Sports therapist Wulftange was completely satisfied with the event. The 54-year-old had tough Corona months behind him – the foundation financed exclusively through donations. He is happy to be able to organize such an event again and generate money. 23,000 euros flowed into the foundation. “A nice story,” said Wulftange. The all-star team didn’t win the pot. In the end, the winners of the day were the young cancer patients and their families.
