Brussels –
Two days in a row, incidents occurred between the police and young people in Bois de la Cambre in Brussels, and a manifestation was also organized on Saturday. This time a Facebook page reported “a peace-loving demonstration for freedom”, which started at 2 pm at the Poelaertplein. The police were on the scene and sent about thirty protesters for a walk. They left for Mont des Arts, but everything went smoothly.

“We heard that there would be another rally today, this time a ‘peace-loving march’,” said spokesman Ilse Van de Keere of the Brussels police. “But we had no idea what to expect. The organizers had not applied to hold that march, and we had no idea who they are, so we were unable to contact them ourselves. ”
The police were on the spot at Poelaertplein and saw a small group show up. The demonstrators – mostly elderly – were sent away and headed for Mont des Arts to hand out stickers there. Everything went smoothly.
