In March in Russia, average car prices decreased by 2.4%, to 3.5 million rubles. Analysts from the Avto.ru service reported this.
“The largest decrease in average cost of 23% was noticed in Orenburg, where the price decreased to 3.4 million rubles, which was the minimum figure for the first quarter of 2024. For the second month in a row, the average cost is falling in the Perm Territory (-16.2%), Tula Region (-12%), Bashkiria (-11%), Stavropol Territory (-8%),” the report says. However, a slight increase in car prices occurred in the Ulyanovsk (0.8%) and Omsk (0.5%) regions.
Also, used cars fell in price by 3% on average. First of all, we are talking about models in the budget segment: Renault Logan, Daewoo Matiz, Nissan Tiida, Nissan Leaf. Now the average price of a used car is close to 1.2 million rubles.
Previously agency reported that in Russia the price of tires for passenger cars has decreased. This is due to the entry of new foreign partners’ products into the market.
