Magnetic storms can significantly affect people’s well-being and mood. What to expect in March for weather-dependent people – we tell further.
What is a magnetic storm?
Magnetic storms are the reaction of the magnetosphere to sharp impacts and solar wind pressure. Due to solar flares, the Earth’s magnetic shield simply begins to tremble and fluctuate, which affects the entire field of the Earth and, accordingly, people. Storms can last from several hours to several days, and their intensity directly affects our well-being and mood.
When can we expect magnetic storms in March?
In March, there will be four magnetic storms on the Sun, the impact of which will be felt on Earth. Meteorologists say that they will be of different intensity at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the month:
- March 4 – magnetic storm of medium intensity
- March 12 – low-intensity magnetic storms
- March 19 – magnetic storm of medium intensity
- March 31 – a magnetic storm of medium intensity.
