Dr. Hiranwut Phraethankhum, Acting Director of the Disease Prevention and Control Office 11, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, said that Thailand is driving the operation to end the AIDS problem by 2030 by reducing the number of people infected with H. Ivy

According to a survey of the situation of stigma and discrimination in health care facilities in 2021, it was found that 70% of health care providers 49.6% had stigmatizing and discriminatory attitudes towards people living with HIV; 12.8% decided not to go to the hospital because of self-stigma.
9.6% of people living with HIV had experienced discrimination while receiving health services in the past 1 month ( Source: Division of AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases) Stigma and discrimination that exists in society It is considered a major obstacle in ending the AIDS problem in Thailand.
