Marcelo Flores is one of the promises of world football. At just 18 years old, he Arsenal’s Mexican midfielder has clear objectives in the short and medium term, among which are being considered by the Mexican team for the next World Cup in Qatar 2022.
In an interview with Goal, Flores highlighted: “I would like make my Premier League debut before I turned 19. That’s my goal. And I would like to have my international debut properly with Mexico and, hopefully, participate in the World Cup in Qatar”.

“I idolize players like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, they have done the same. Looking at players like them, you want to match what they did because, like any player, my biggest dream is win things like the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or”.
Finally the juvenile, who debut last December with the Tricolor, record the team and the footballer who marked his growth:
“The Barcelona was my favorite team. My mom tells me that I never took my shirt off. When I was young my dad took me to a couple of games at the Camp Nou, I used to love Ronaldinho”.
