During his first term as host of the Citytv program, he attacked the director of Elenco magazine, both outlets from the El Tiempo editorial group.
As Cezán narrates, “the director of Elenco magazine had me set up with three very strong news stories in a row. And one day I came to ‘Bravíssimo’ from a party, I opened the magazine and it started talking about me again”.
Marcelo then chose to reveal a personal secret of the journalist in question and that cost him his job at Bravíssimo. Read here: Video: the brutal attack on Jessi Uribe during a concert in Caldas
“I’m not homophobic, but I ticketed him and told the world that he was gay. And he hadn’t come out of the closet. The next day they kicked me out and I paid for it, ”he confessed.
However, he revealed that some time later he apologized and smoothed out the rough edges, which allowed him to return to the renowned program.
