The representative of Nuevas Ideas and candidate for mayor of La Paz Este, Marcela Pineda, expressed her commitment to moving forward with the municipality for which she seeks the support of the population in the March 3 elections for municipal councils.
For the current legislator from the Cian Caucus, it is important that Salvadorans exercise their right to vote next month, since in her opinion, it is necessary to protect the territories.
The mayoral candidate recalled that if the population removed the traditional parties from the Legislative Assembly, they should not be allowed to continue in the municipal councils.
“These parties (Arena and Fmln) are going to seek to continue breastfeeding in the municipalities now that the population has already removed them from the Legislative Assembly,” he reiterated.
“Zacatecoluca is a fairly strong commercial district and we can become a space in which the local economy is promoted, taking advantage of the wealth we have,” said Pineda.
