Lebanese musician Marcel Khalife returned to his old archive, to remind many with a distinct Moroccan voice, which he addressed at the height of his giving, when Marcel composed the song “Seif” by the late Moroccan star Rajaa Belmaleh.
Marcel Khalife wrote, on his Facebook page, sharing the song in the voice of the late Belmaleh: “Please Belmlih, let us hear your apology of death. Perhaps death is a metaphor that reminds us of a secret of life that we have not paid attention to. at the?”
The song “Seef” is one of the rare songs that Marcel composed for others and Belmleh excelled in his performance in the Levantine dialect.
The song was released on the late Moroccan artist’s album in 1994, which included her famous song “Sabri Alik Tal”, composed by Hamid Al Shaeri.
The song “Seef” is written by the poet Talal Haidar, composed and arranged by the Lebanese musician Marcel Khalife.
