Kohler equals Hossam El Badry’s achievement in the Egyptian Super Cup
Swiss Marcel Koehler, the coach of the first football team at Al-Ahly club, was able to equal the achievement of Hossam El-Badry, the former coach of Al-Ahly and the Egyptian national team, in the Egyptian Super Cup, after winning the championship title. Under his leadership, Al-Ahly won the 2022 edition title, at the expense of Pyramids, with a clean goal from Ali Maaloul after resorting to extra time, from a penalty kick.

“Al-Badri” won the Egyptian Super Cup title for the first time in the 2010 edition, with a goal victory over Haras El Hodood, and then later won the 2012 title over Enppi with a double to one with Abdullah Al-Saeed, and Mohamed Nagy Gedo scored for Al-Ahly and Mohamed Shaaban for the Oil team.
The former Al-Ahly coach returned, achieving the third title in the 2017 edition, by defeating Al-Masry Club of Port Said with a clean goal scored by Moroccan Walid Azaro, the former Al-Ahly striker.

Kohler seeks to equal the achievement of Manuel Jose, who won the title 4 times in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, respectively.
