Virologist Marc Van Ranst (KU Leuven) and engineer Bert Blocken (TU Eindhoven/KU Leuven) are joining forces to get the coronavirus out of the classroom. With a study in various Flemish schools, they hope to convince the government of the usefulness of air purifiers with hard evidence. “After the CO2 meters, this is a logical next step,” says Van Ranst.
